D1 GROUPS

We are designed to be in community. No one should have to do life alone. Here at D1Naz, we want to provide as many opportunities as possible for you to connect with others, live life in community, and be a part of the Body of Christ.

For group options, we have Sunday small group classes offered before service at 9 AM, and then various small groups available throughout the week on different nights. Check out some of these options below or contact the church through info@d1naz.com for more information.

Sundays

• Weekly 9 am to 9:45 am at the Church

  • Agape - John Prien leads a weekly devotion from the Nazarene publication that covers a variety of subjects each quarter.

  • Coffee Chat Theology - Marc Abla leads a lively discussion of contemporary topics and how they relate to our faith.

  • Exploring the Bible - Erech Pierson, Matt Schwenk & Ray Standerwick take turns leading a study through each book of the Bible.

  • Ladies' Bible Study - Brandee Allen leads a video study on the book "A Jesus Shaped Life" by Lisa Harper to help you deepen your commitment to Jesus.

  • Marriage Group - Jim & Phyllis German will be leading a 4 week Marriage Study based on the "The Marriage you want" sermon series.

  • Teen Bible Quizzing - Sara Goodner leads teens as they learn and memorize scripture, so they will always have the word of GOD with them.​

  • Intercessory Prayer Group - Jan Abla leads a group of prayer warriors, each week one group member will pray during and for our main worship service for the needs of our ministries , our congregation and our communities. ​

Mondays 

• Monthly at the Church​

  • Women's F.I.T Class - Brandee Allen leads a 20 min exercise followed by a devotional on healthy eating and living, 1st and 3rd Monday, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, come out for some exercise, community and devotions.

Tuesdays 

• Weekly 10 am to 11 am at the Church

  • Ladies' Bible Study - Carol Eichel leads a video study on the book "A Jesus Shaped Life" by Lisa Harper to help you deepen your commitment to Jesus.

• Weekly 10 am to 12 pm at the Church

  • Ladies' Clothes Sorting Team - Delrene Berg leads the Helping Hands team in sorting and hanging clothes that have been donated to our Helping Hands Ministry and then enjoy some snacks and a time of prayer. ​​

• Weekly 6:30 pm to 8 pm at the Church​

  • Discipleship Class - Jim Braundmeier leads a study from the book "Praying the Names of GOD" by Ann Spangler. In biblical times, names did more than identify the person; they spoke to their character. This study will help you better understand the character of GOD. 

  • Ladies' Bible Study - Debi Braundmeier leads a video study on the book "A Jesus Shaped Life" by Lisa Harper to help you deepen your commitment to Jesus.

  • Parenting Small Group - Pastor Christen leads a discussion and support group to provide encouragement and prayer for parents with children newborn to graduating high school.  Meeting every other week, come join and share in your parenting journey.

Thursdays ​​​​

• Monthly

  • Helping Hands Food Pantry - Delrene Burg and many others open the D1 Clothing and Food Pantry the 3rd Thursday each month 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, to offer assistance to those that attend Celebrate Recovery (CR).  Please join our team of devoted individuals as we Love GOD, Love People and Server our World.

  • Ladies' Book Club - Jan Abla hosts, on the 3rd Thursday of the month, a book club in her home from 7 pm to 9 pm.​

  • Young at Heart (YAH) Seniors Small Group - Jean Hector hosts, on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month, those who are "Young At Heart"  for devotions, prayer and bingo from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.​​

Saturdays

• ​Monthly​

  • Family Small Group - Matt & Michelle Schwenk host a small group in their home, twice a month from 6 pm to 8 pm.

  • Game Night - Bart Harris hosts, on the 4th Saturday of the month, game night at the church in the Grove from 6 pm to 10 pm.​​

  • Helping Hands - Delrene Burg and many others open the D1 Clothing and Food Pantry the 2nd and 4th Saturday's each month 10 am to 12 pm, to offer assistance to those that are in need.  Come join our team of devoted individuals as we Love GOD, Love People and Server our World.

  • Men's Breakfast - Jim Braundmeier hosts, the 1st Saturday of the month, a Men's Breakfast for Men to help each other grow as Godly Men - Proverbs 27:17 "Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another."
