D1 UPWARD MINISTRY

Our Mission is promoting the discovery of Jesus through Sports - to use the power of sports to share the gospel and promote the discovery of Jesus in our community.

We view sports through the lens of a greater purpose - which means the impact can extend far beyond the game. Sports break down barriers and create a powerful catalyst for building relationships with people and provide an opportunity for our church to serve others. All children deserve opportunities to be active, learn, and have fun!  Luke 2:52 - "Jesus grew in wisdom and stature in in favor with GOD and man." Our sports programs are designed to engage the whole athlete - mind, body, spirit, and soul.  We strive to develop all children mentally, athletically, spiritually, and Socially.

If you are interested in any of our current programs, registration is typically about 2 months prior to the start of the season, and we welcome participants from Kindergarten (age 4) through 8th grade. Upward Flag Football & Cheer season runs August through October. Upward Basketball & Cheer season runs January through March.
