"Hope Is Coming"

Scripture: Psalm 30:11 & Romans 8:18

Today is the quiet day. The in-between. Jesus has been crucified. The tomb is sealed. And as far as anyone can see… it’s over. No movement. No answers. No visible hope. Just silence. And if we’re honest, we’ve all had seasons like that.

Seasons where we can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. Where the weight feels unbearable. Where we can’t find a way out. Where it feels like nothing is changing…and nothing is coming. But this day reminds us of something powerful: Just because you can’t see it… doesn’t mean God isn’t working. Because while Saturday felt silent…Sunday was coming.

Psalm 30:11 says:“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing…”

Not you might. Not you could. You have.

And Romans 8:18 reminds us:“What we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.”

That means this isn’t the end of your story. Even when you can’t see it. Even when you don’t feel it. Even when everything in front of you says otherwise. Because God is not just the giver of hope—He is hope. So even when you can’t see a way out…you can still hold on. Even when the weight feels unbearable…you can still trust. Even when it feels like nothing is happening…God is still moving. Saturday may feel heavy. But it is never final.

Hope is coming.

Prayer

God, in the quiet and in-between seasons, it’s hard to trust that You’re still working. When I can’t see the way forward, remind me that You are my hope. Help me hold on, even when it feels heavy. Thank You that this is not the end of my story. I trust that You are not finished yet. Amen.
